Overall a Good Refrigerator, But a Few Changes Could Make it Perfect

This refrigerator replaced a 15-year-old Electrolux that came with the house. I LOVED that fridge, but it needed a new control board and they don't make them anymore. The repairman recommended a Frigidaire side-by-side, so we ordered this online based dimensions and reviews.The ordering/delivery process was great. Got the fridge quickly and we've had it for almost a week now. My registration and extended warranty never showed up in my user profile, so I guess I'm going to have to make another call to support. Upon delivery, there were a couple of drawers that had imperfections in them. I called the customer service number, after getting nowhere in chat, and we already have the replacements. The doors and handles weren't level when it arrived. I thought we could do an adjustment ourselves, but the same person on the phone had thought she'd set up a service call and gave me a number to call to confirm my service. When I tried to confirm it, it was an old number for them, but I found them on Google. It turned out the service hadn't actually gotten scheduled, but they were great, got me on their schedule for the next day and came and leveled the doors and also fixed a problem with the holder for the air filter on the left interior of the fridge.As to the actual refrigerator and its function, the ice maker so far works great and my husband prefers the size of the cubes over the larger kind many refrigerators make. It seems to be holding temperatures well, and we like the control panel inside the door. So far we're not having any problems with odors. It has a fair amount of space for its size and is not overly noisy. I haven't really tried to move the shelves around, but it looks pretty straightforward if you want to change the configuration.The bad/wish list is a even though it had basically the same dimensions, the old Electrolux had a lot more room inside somehow. The bottom shelf in the door is pretty small, so it doesn't hold much. The actual construction of the bins and drawers seems pretty delicate. Time will tell if they hold up to daily use/wear. The water in the door takes a good while to get cold. It's not designed for water bottles, but I can get mine filled without spilling. The freezer is fine for us, a retired couple, but if I had a family of four I might struggle to find enough space. The branding label on the front of the door is crooked, but we didn't try to take it off and reposition it.

Very Beautiful Refrigerator!

This Refrigerator is quite pretty. It can be a little noisey at times and the ice really shoots out the dispenser so forcefully, you get chips all over the place. The water flow is nice and I love the space inside. Coming from a Samsung family hub is going to take some time to get use the simplicity of this refrigerator, but I think we will get there. We have an older version of this refrigerator in our garage that has been awesome for more than 20 years and within a span of 15 years, we have had trouble with Maytag, LG and Samsung. So we were just like, let's go with one like the one in our garage, a Frigidaire. Hopefully it will serve us as well as the old is still serving us.

Bad online order and delivery process

While I've always liked the Frigidaire products, I'm very disappointed with the on-line order and delivery process. Nobody can provide any information on when the refrigerator will be delivered - I was finally told that it will take 7-10 business days from the day the local delivery company receives the unit. I also tried to change the order so they would haul my old refrigerator away (which is an extra cost I am willing to pay) instead of just moving it to the garage (which I already paid for) and they told me that no changes can be made to the order even after they schedule the delivery.

Initially was reluctant to purchase a Frigidaire refrigerator, poor reviews in the past. But we™€™ve had this now for six months and so far I™€™m a believer. Ice-maker is large, through the door and makes ice quickly. Unfortunately, the water is room temperature. I™€™ve had eight water dispensing refrigerators in the past. I™€™ve never seen one that doesn™€™t dispense chilled water. Wasn™€™t a pleasant surprise. The shelves in the fridge and freezer don™€™t have very many adjustments, you™€™re kind of stuck with what comes from the factory. The good news is that so far it seems to work very well for us. Overall, the bins and drawers are very low quality, we expect to have them break overtime. You have to be very careful to close the fridge door with the handle don™€™t grab the bin to pull the door shut as it flexes quite a bit and one of these days it™€™s just gonna snap. Spend a few more bucks on the bins Frigidaire. My wife complains that the unit is pretty noisy, for sure the icemaker is, but I think overall it™€™s fairly normal. I seen quite a few complaints about noise from this model, but I don™€™t think it™€™s a big deal.

arrived with a small dent on upper side panel on freezer side but not very visible if not inspecting for it. However, there are no signs it has not affected the performance of the refrigerator. We have only had it for about two weeks, and it is performing very well with an abundance of room on the inside for plenty of storage. Fridge has more storage space than it seems when first opening it. Very cold, needed to turn up the temperature a bit twice. Only minor complaint is that the water/ice dispenser is a little shallow and the ice has a habit of jumping onto the floor upon dispensing. It's best to push the cup as far upward as possible underneath the dispenser, but in doing so, you have to use your hand to activate the mechanism. Still an outstanding fridge, looks stylish and professional.

My not so old LG fridge went dead. I quickly moved the food from the freezer to a neighbor's home and kept the food/drinks from the refrigerator side on a cooler. Since I'm in a condo my options were limited. I spent several hours going up and down the aisles measuring doors, etc. I finally decided on the Frigidaire, side by side, stainless steel. I had to take a 22 cu/ft one instead of the 25, for it to fit in the space between the cabinets. It looks great, easy to set my options, lots of ICE, drawers everywhere to store food and flexibility to store large milk/soda/juice containers. I am very happy with my choice!

Excellent Counter-Depth Fridge

This is a sleek fridge that fits our space perfectly. We really appreciate the clean, simple exterior, and especially the handles. It is quiet after the initial setup, and cools quickly. Probably the best feature is that it is exceptionally easy to clean. All of the shelves and drawers are easy to remove and provide access, unlike our previous fridge.

Attractive Counter Depth Refrigerator

We selected this relatively new Frigidaire model after a lot of research. We've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far it matches our expectations. One thing that stands out is that it's more energy efficient than almost all refrigerators we looked at. We like the small sized ice cubes. After adjusting the doors to matching height, there are no other issues.

Change is hard

I really like my new fridge, I also liked my old fridge (also a Frigidaire) and hated to see it go. I like more drawers in the freezer, I like all 3 drawers in the bottom of the fridge, I like that the ice maker takes up less space-that spot is perfect for ice cream! The fridge is unfortunately freezing items on the top shelf-but I don™€™t want to turn it down for the sake of the rest of the fridge, so that™€™s a frustration. I love that it is not as deep as my old fridge, that extra few inches makes a surprising difference. Also love that it matches the other appliances.

My 13 year old refrigerator stopped freezing and I had to buy a new one. A repairman said to buy a Frigidaire or another brand. I found the Frigidaire and the vendor could deliver in 3 days. I like my new Frigidaire but there were other thing items I would have preferred, like a bottle rack and more shelves. I do like the space between one shelf that is tall enough for most containers. If I open my freezer door and close it, it is very difficult to open the refrigerator door.
