I decided to switch over from my old gas stove because I have asthma, and because I wanted something more environmentally friendly. I never liked electric stoves but this induction stove is awesome. I'm still learning it and haven't tried all of the functions yet, looking forward to trying the air fryer, but everything I've done so far has been impressive. I can boil a teakettle in under a minute. Half of my old cookware works with this stovetop--I'm giving the rest to my nephew for a housewarming gift. I'm waiting for my new cookware to be delivered so I can really explore every aspect of the stove top. Until then, I'm boiling noodles in a cast iron dutch oven and making applesauce in an old teakettle and it's working out fine. The stove looks great in my rustic kitchen, and I'm excited about the self-clean option. I'm completely impressed with everything I've done with this stove so far.

We™€™ve only had this for a few weeks but are overall really happy. The induction cooktop is incredible for rice, pasta, etc - so fast! I was worried about reviews I read about the oven fan being loud and convection baking not being real convection but we haven™€™t had any issues. Air fryer is also a plus!

The right thing to do

I went with this stove because it was the right thing to do in terms of the environment and I can't stand electric stoves, so slow. This induction stove is awesome, heating up on a dime, faster than my gas stove. The oven I haven't used as much and generally use on regular bake. I did use convection once and it did cook it faster. It will take more of a learning curve. Since I have a small kitchen I thought it would be nice to have the air fry in the oven but it doesn't come with the mesh attachment and sounds like there is smoke and splatter. I don't really need that or the foods that come with that. I am happy with the purchase but like anything that requires change it takes a while to learn.

Cooktop is fine, Oven not so much

The cooktop works well and is an adequate substitute for propane. There is a bit of a learning curve but nothing too difficult. And the burners can make a little bit of a humming noise but not really loud enough to be annoying. The oven, on the other hand, is a big problem. It's the fan. It sounds like a jet engine taking off. If we could avoid it, I'd say the range is ok. But even if you put the oven on just BAKE mode the fan comes on and off just as if it was in Convection Bake mode. It is annoying and frustrating beyond belief that we can't turn the overly loud fan off even though we are more than willing to bake without convection. So really can't recommend until Frigidaire either supports a baking option that doesn't include the fan or fixes the loud fan noise.

Great induction stove and convection oven. First time to try induction and had to purchase new pans. The stove top heats quickly and evenly, with no burning or mess to scrub, just wipes right off. Efficient and easy to learn how to use. A few tips - read the manual so you understand how to get started, purchase a 4-line power cord 50 amp and ensure your dedicated 240 outlet is ready if in traditional single family home. Great unit and very happy so far.

Upgrade from gas stove

We switched from a decent quality gas stove because we didn't want the fumes. We went with this model because it was highly recommended by consumer reports, and has a good price point.Pros: - No fumes after first break-in bake - Range heats up VERY fast (be careful with thin pans, it can warp them) - Very even heat on the range compared to gasCons: - Minor issues with fit and finish. The door isn't exactly aligned, the front edge can get quite hot when baking. The bottom drawer falls out easily. The back panel feels a little flimsy (visibly moves when you push the buttons on the control panel). - Not every pot or pan works with induction. This is just the way induction is, we knew that and most of our pots and pans work great.Overall we're quite happy, and the minor issues are not such a big deal given the low price. Hopefully it holds up over time.

This range replaced a 24-year-old Frigidaire glass top range and is my first experience with an Induction cook top. So far, I'm happy with the induction cooking once I replaced most of my old pans. The stove top is harder to keep clean with this range than my old glass top. It seems to show every finger print and such. At first, we had difficulty turning on the burners but have figured out that putting your finger flat on the button works much better. The oven is a bit noisy but does a nice job of baking. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would buy again.

This is an excellent replacement for our old gas stove. It's a low-end model, so sheet metal and trim are lightweight and possibly not super durable, but induction is quicker, safer, better all around. Induction burners make a very faint buzz with some pans, but it's not an issue. LWe haven't tested the convection oven yet.

Love the oven, hate the control panel

I absolutely LOVE the induction cooktop and the air fry feature and use them constantly and with great joy. The Air fry options have made me eat more vegetables and have healthier dinners. The induction stove works well and I appreciate that it doesn't heat my kitchen up as much as gas and is more climate friendly.My quibbles are that the control panel is very unfriendly. The buttons for the induction burners are super unresponsive and I have to hit them several times to get them to work. The timer works by having you hit "timer, number, timer" instead of "timer, number, start" which would make more sense.I would also say that when you open the stove, you get a genuinely painful wave of steam in the face. My husband is looking into getting us a sticker to remind us of dangerous steam! The first time I opened the oven to get tater tots out, I thought I'd burned my face.Finally, while I knew some pans wouldn't work with induction, I was disappointed that I can no longer use my cast iron griddle which my family used to use weekly for pancakes. Because it has smart sensors on the induction cooktop that look for round pans, my cast iron griddle doesn't work (doesn't register as a pan). We're cooking pancakes in two cast iron pans for now, which isn't quite as good.

Great range when compared to older electric ranges. Induction cooktop is hot almost immediately and has cut my time standing in front of the stove in half. With the cooking time reduced so is the amount of energy I am using. Oven has a wide variety of cooking methods too. The only improvement I could ask for would be if the markings on the induction stove top were a little easier to see in lower light. I usually have to turn the overhead on to see the markings to properly place the frying pan.

We have solar electricity and have been slowly replacing fossil fuel dependent appliances with electric. The new induction stove is our latest purchase. The stove is fantastic although we did have to buy some new pots and pans but our old ones were getting a little tired anyway. The learning curve was a little slow, for a 70 year old, converting from gas but once you get the hang of it it works great.

My first induction range. This is more affordable than others and was highly rated by Consumer Reports. Had concerns that it would be noisy but that's hasn't been a problem. Two things that would make it better - 1. A way to turn off the clock, and 2., more responsive touch response - it often takes several taps to turn the burners on.

Switching from dials to buttons took a little time to adjust to but after that the induction top and oven performed perfectly. Heat up time was rapid and the temperature on the induction top remained steady once set - so much better than the on/off heating of my old electric range. I haven™€™t yet tried the air fry feature since it requires some accessories, which unfortunately were not included(thus the 4 rather than 5 rating).

Induction Heaven

We are do pleased to have taken the leap and buy an induction/convection/air fryer range. The speed of the induction cooktop is amazing. We boil water in less than three minutes, the electricity we save adds up. Convection and air frying in the oven are added bonuses. We love the range. Extremely pleased with our purchase.

Absolutely Love It!

Bought this as a replacement for another electric range with a regular smooth cook top. So far the oven works well, although that is no different than our previous one. Have not tried the air fry feature yet so cannot speak to that.The induction cook top is AWESOME! It heats the pan incredibly fast and, once you get used to it, cooks very evenly. There are so many pluses to this cook top:- Extremely fast - Has to use less energy than a standard electric range- Heating element does not retain much heat at all once the pan is removed. We have a son with a disability and we no longer have to worry about him accidentally touching an extremely hot element (there is some residual heat left over from the pan but that quickly dissipates)- Easy to keep clean.The only thing with this is that you have to use stainless steel pots and pans in order for the induction to heat. This is absolutely a minor concern as I was able to buy a brand name set of SS pots and pans at a nearby warehouse club for 50$.So far I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Should anything happen to cause my opinion to change, I will update the review. Until then, I would highly recommend.

We switched from gas to induction and we will never look back. The top is so easy to clean and the stove looks amazing. The oven works really well and the food always cooks well. The pans get hot very quickly, and surprisingly, the surface does not. It™€™s a great buy.

I am so glad I chose this range! The induction top is amazing and very easy to use and to clean. I previously had a gas range and swore I™€™d never have electric but am now a convert! Oven features are great, too. Everything I™€™ve cooked so far has come out perfectly!

Exceeds expectations! The induction stove top is as good if not better than gas. The cooking temps are easy and instant unlike traditional electric stove tops. The oven is very consistent and accurate. Highly recommend.

We were going to replace our electric stove with a gas range. But the salesperson told us that she had an induction range and loved it, so we decided to try one. It cooks similar to gas, heats and adjusts quickly. But the glass top is much easier to clean than gas burners. We really like it.
